Who Do We Help?
Once the Mission became established in Australia, it became obvious that the initial response to ‘building and maintenance needs of Australian Outback Mission Stations’ needed to be much wider and to encompass a far greater range of Christian ministry.
It would have been very easy, in response to the increasing calls for assistance, for MMM to lose sight of the initial vision. To prevent this occurring, a system of priorities was established.
Applications are allocated priority for MMM assistance according to the following schedule:
Priority No. 1
- Faith Missions
- Emergency Projects
Priority No. 2
- Church Camps
- Bible Schools
- Full-time workers
Priority No. 3
- Retired Missionaries
- Subsidised or funded organisations
Priority No. 4
- Church building and additions
- Church maintenance
- Christian Schools
Adopting this priority system enables all Applications for Assistance to be dealt with fairly. Applications that have high priority are programmed as quickly as possible. Applications that have a lower rating are programmed into work programs whenever possible.
